We are pleased to announce that version 15.26.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.
Project Management
Machine Translation
We have made several improvements to validate MT tag placement to ensure translated files download as expected.
Workflows
- We resolved an issue that prevented users from setting the progress rule conditions to 100%.
- Workflow templates have been removed from the Project Resources menu and added to our new Templates menu in the sidebar. The Templates menu is part of our long-term plan to add more templates to the system to centralize automation.
Workbench
In-Context Translation
- Compatible file-types can be uploaded to the TMS with segment notes to give linguists valuable notes and instructions. If users add URLs preceded by a keyword, those URLs will be opened automatically in the Context Viewer, so users get the correct context for each segment. See the documentation for more information.
- We resolved an issue displaying Subtitles where [object Object] was shown instead of the translation.
- When the Source URL provided redirects to a new URL, the Context Viewer now attempts to match source segments in the new URL.
Translation Resources
- We have removed the options to search in personal vaults and glossaries from the Legacy and Standard Workbenches. Now, only vaults glossaries specified by Project Managers in the Project Resources tab of the project will be searched in the Workbench.
- We resolved an issue where some users saw incorrect results when performing a concordance search after highlighting the source and target text.
- The Source URL is no longer counted in the Reference Materials tab. If there is a source URL, but no Reference Materials, there will be a zero next to the Reference Materials icon.
- Users can enable browser-based spelling and grammar tools in the Workbench. Doing so will block Lingotek's Spelling and Grammar checks.
- Today, the "Approve All" feature only pulls translations from the phase immediately before the current phase. Segments without a translation in the current phase now show as "Needs Approval" (because there wasn't a translation to approve) until a translation is entered for the current phase, even after running "Approve All."
- The "add new tag" keyboard shortcut now works as expected.
- Long format tags now wrap appropriately in translation memory results and in the translation.
API 4
- We have added the optional includeDocuments parameter to the listProject and getProject calls. A list of documents in the project will not be included if includeDocuments is set to FALSE.
