We are pleased to announce that version 13.25.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.
Project Management
- The Job ID metadata field has been added as a filter to the Project Exceptions Dashboard.
Project Resource Settings
- The Project Resources tab on a project has been updated to support defining TM and Glossary sequencing at the project level.
- This allows for the following project-related features and functions to optionally inherit their sequencing and penalization settings from the project settings:
- This powerful enhancement gives project managers more flexibility by allowing them to configure Project Resource settings in a single place, and then synchronize those settings to the various features and functions that require them.
- It also ensures that the same Project Resource settings used in TM Leverage and Analysis jobs are also used for displaying TM hits to linguists in the Workbench.
Microsoft Translator
- Added support for Microsoft Translator v3
- Microsoft will be deprecating support for v2 on April 30, 2019.
Intelligent Workflows
Target-Specific LSP Assignments
Clients with access to the Vendor Management application are now able to not only set LSP assignments per phase but also per target.
This allows clients who use multiple LSPs on the same project to choose LSPs according to their language expertise.
LSP assignments are different from linguist assignments, which were already possible to set per target.
Vendor Management
- We recently enhanced Cost and Invoice reports to filter by Language Pairs and Metadata. We have now also added a filter for only returning information for a specific project.
Linguistic Quality Evaluation
- The user experience of running a Quality Report from the Task List, Document List actions and Document actions have been standardized.
Quality Reports
- Content type values populate as expected in Quality Reports.
- Columns in the Quality Report have been updated to be more descriptive of the data.

New APIs
- LSP assignments can now be managed using the following /vendor API calls (Full Project Manager credentials required):
- GET /vendor will return a list of vendor names and IDs that are available for assignment in the Project Manager's community.
- GET /phase/{id}/vendor will return the vendor assigned to the phase.
- PATCH /phase/{id}/vendor will update vendor assignments for a phase.
- Please note that you cannot change vendor assignments if the phase is already In Progress.
- Costs will automatically be recalculated when you change the assignments.
- DELETE /phase/{id}/vendor will remove a vendor assignment from a phase.
- Please note that you cannot remove a vendor assignment from a phase that is already In Progress.
- Due dates can now be modified in bulk using the following /due_date API calls (Project Manager credentials required):
- POST /document/bulk/due_date - Modify document due dates in bulk
- POST /translation/bulk/due_date - Modify target due dates in bulk
- POST /phase/bulk/due_date - Modify phase due dates in bulk
API Enhancements
- We have added 'status' as an optional parameter to GET /task, which allows filtering the list of tasks returned in the response by status.
