We are pleased to announce that version 16.3.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.

Project Management

Document Import/Export

  • The import process correctly accounts for files with period characters in the name.

  • If a translatable segment does not include words but includes other characters, the total word count will be one word.

  • We make sure files in exported InDesign packages do not include any characters forbidden by Windows.

  • The importer can gather start and end timestamps from XLIFF2 files if they are configured correctly in the metadata section. With these metadata fields, users can translate subtitles in-context using XLIFF2 files.

  • We have resolved visual issues with the processes widget.

Project Templates

  • Adding teams to the owner field on project templates gives team members ownership rights as expected.

Workflows

  • We have changed the status reason description for fast-tracked phases to improve clarity.

Glossary Export

  • We resolved an issue that prevented Glossary terms from being exported reliably.

Project Exceptions

  • The project exceptions dashboard is now accessible to Vendor Project Managers. Vendor PMs will only see targets if their organization has been assigned to at least one of their phases.

User Experience Improvements

  • You can adjust the column width of the Project, Document, and Task lists.

Segment History

  • The segment history gives details specific to translations that are copied from the previous phase and saved to the current phase.

In-Context Translation

  • We can load video URLs pointing to an m3u8 file in our Context Viewer.

Quality Feedback

  • We resolved an issue preventing changes to quality feedback from being reflected in the LQE emails.
