We are pleased to announce that version 13.9.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.
TMS
Task List
- To continue providing better tools and capabilities to linguists in the Task List, we've added a column showing the "Checkout Status" for tasks that are set to enable task checkout:
- Tasks which have been checked out by another user no longer disappear from the Task List, but instead appear as read-only. This allows users to know that the task has been claimed by another linguist.
- Users can also filter tasks by checkout status, providing quicker access to tasks needing attention (e.g. view only those tasks which have not yet been checked out).
- The checkout status icons can be clicked on to quickly check tasks in/out.
- In addition, we’ve added several new features to the Task List which are specific to the Project Manager role (Note: that these new features require the Project Manager to be an assignee on the task; and task checkout must also be enabled on the task):
- Manage checkout status for linguists (check in, check out, check out to other)
- View the names of linguists to whom tasks are checked out
- Filter tasks by the name of the linguist to whom tasks are checked out
Phase Due Dates
- When modifying a phase due date and time, the user interface honors and displays the appropriate time zone for the logged-in user.
Workbench
- The "Description" field in the Workbench quality check results in Japanese no longer displays strange escaped characters.
Intelligence Dashboard
User Experience
- Speed:
- We've enhanced the performance of report processing in the Intelligence Dashboard, making report generation significantly faster.
- Display:
- We've updated the display and UX of the Enterprise-Wide Content Reuse chart, to show data points on hover and labels for each data point.
- The bar height in the Average Document Word Count chart is now consistent between date presets.
- The No Leverage portion of the Actual TM Leveraged chart has been removed to better reflect the amount of TM usage.
- Accuracy:
- We've updated the behavior and display of the Document Activity chart to account for periods of inactivity in the report data. The lines in the chart will now show 0 activity and be a consistent line, instead of gaps between periods of activity.
- The Active Users chart now properly reflects the number of actual users taking actions in the Lingotek system.
- The charts have been updated so they now show full sets of data for both the Sample Community and actual usage data.
- The Translation Activity chart has been enhanced to include documents where 100% of the segments in the document were leveraged as Exact 100% TM matches.
Deleted Projects
- Deleted projects are no longer displayed in the Average Translation Time-To-Market chart.
- Deleted projects no longer show in the Average Workbench TM Match Percent chart.
- The Terminology Compliance table no longer shows deleted projects.
Duplicates
- The Average Translation Time to Market chart no longer randomly shows duplicates.
- The Total Word Count Breakdown now appropriately handles duplicates.
API
- Our Project-related API calls have been updated to be more aware of project access and project roles. For more details on project access, see the documentation.
- We've enhanced the GET /document API call to support filtering the list of documents returned in the response. Examples include filtering the list of documents returned by status and by completion date range.
