We are pleased to announce that version 13.32.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.
Project Management
TM Stats
- We have resolved an issue that was preventing some users from downloading Condensed reports from the TM Stats page.
Global Search
- To improve the search-ability of documents within the TMS, non-standard white spaces within a document's filename are now normalized when creating the document display name for an uploaded file.
Skipping Phases
- Locked segments now propagate as expected when skipping phases.
Checkout Status
- The checkout feature has been enhanced to send a callback whenever the checkout status of the task is changed.
Vendor Assignments
Project owners can make changes to vendor assignments on phases after the workflow has begun. This allows users to rectify any mistakes or make any necessary changes.
You can only make changes to vendor assignments if the phase has not yet been worked on.
Lingotek - Xbench Integration
- With this release, we have introduced a new integration with Apsic Xbench, a Windows-based desktop application for checking translation quality and terminology usage.
- The Lingotek - Xbench integration provides:
- A new Project Setting to enable download of an Xbench Package (.xbpkg)
- When enabled, Linguists can then download a single Task or a bulk set of Tasks as an Xbench Package (.xbpkg)
- An Xbench Package automatically opens in Xbench
- Run quality checks in Xbench on all of the Tasks in the Xbench Package (e.g. Consistency Checks)
- When an issue is found in Xbench, Linguists can right-click in the segment and select "Edit Segment," which will open the Lingotek Workbench to that specific Task and segment
- A new Project Setting to enable download of an Xbench Package (.xbpkg)
Workbench
TM Stats
- We have resolved an issue that prevented linguists from viewing TM Statistics on the Workbench.
API
Last Modified By
- Added
last_modified_by
to the response forGET /task
andGET /task/{id}.
- This refers to the user who last saved a change to the translation for that phase.
Task Check-Out & Check-In for Linguists
- Previously the API only supported task check-out and check-in for users with the Project Manager role.
- To remedy this, we've added two new linguist-level APIs:
POST /task/{id}/check-out
andPOST /task/{id}/check-in.
- These new APIs enable integrators to allow users with linguist-only credentials to check-out and check-in their own tasks.
Modifying To Whom a Task is Checked Out
- Added APIs for
POST /phase/{id}/check-out
andDELETE /phase/{id}/check-out.
- These two new APIs allow users with the Project Manager role to modify to whom a task is checked-out.
Check Out To
- Add
checked_out_to
to the following five APIs:GET /task
GET /task/{id}
GET /document/{id}translation
GET /document/{id}/translation/{locale}
GET /phase/{id}
- This allows integrators to display the name of the user to whom the task is currently checked out.
