We are pleased to announce that version 13.4.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.

TMS

Translation Memory Statistics

  • On the project level, Shared Guest Users will not see reports run by other vendor organizations on the TM Statistics tab. 
  • On the document level, all vendors will be able to see TM analysis run by the client (not by other vendors), but vendors will only see targets and documents in the analysis assigned to them.

Update Translation Memory

  • When running the "Approve All Segment" action, you can now specify whether or not TM should also be updated.
  • Workflow now supports the option to disable TM auto-update for a specific phase.
  • The Workbench now supports two different options for not updating TM when saving a segment:
    • Don't update TM for this segment (this time only)
    • Never update TM for this segment (now or in the future)

Community Members

  • We have given community administrators control on whether or not project managers can add or manage users within the community by enhancing community settings. 

    The system will default to NOT allow project managers to add/manage users withing the community. Project managers will not be able to add or manage users until the community admin enables the feature in the Community Settings.

Project Exceptions Dashboard

As a Project Manager, understanding WHAT you need to take action on is often the biggest challenge in your day. Identifying the exceptions to the "happy path" is what you spend most of your day figuring out and taking action on. 

To streamline project management, we've created a new Project Exceptions Dashboard, that gives Project Managers quick-and-easy access to the critical "exceptions" that need review and/or action. 

  • With the Project Exceptions Dashboard, you can see critical information about Documents, Targets, and Phases that are: 
    • Past Due 
    • Due Within (Specified number of hours) 
    • Missing Due Dates
    • Unassigned 
    • Added In The Past (Specified number of hours) 
    • Updated In The Past (Specified number of hours) 
  • Within the Project Exceptions Dashboard, you can see a visual representation of the Workflow and the Target's progress through the workflow.
  • Additionally, once you've filtered the exceptions by project, you can take bulk actions to fix the exceptions (Manage Assignments, Modify Due Dates, etc.) and make sure everything you're responsible for managing is flowing smoothly. 

Linguistic Quality Evaluation

  • An enhanced UI of the Quality app gives a better user experience when creating and using Quality programs.
  • The Error Type drop down has improved by nesting Error Types under their corresponding Categories. 
  • A read-only view of the Quality Program will be made available to reviewers in the Workbench so they can easily see what error types they should be aware of during revision. 
  • Any negative quality scores for tasks will be reported as a 0%. 

Intelligence Dashboard

When viewing business intelligence, the ability to change the date ranges you're looking at is critical to being able to spot trends and make strategic decisions. With this release, we've added the ability to view the reports and statistics by selecting from the following date range presets: 

  • This week (Current calendar week, could be anywhere from 1-6 days of data)
  • Last week (Previous FULL calendar week)
  • Last 2 weeks (Previous 2 FULL calendar weeks)
  • Last 30 days (Previous 30 days, including today)
  • Last month (Previous completed calendar month)
  • Last 3 months (Previous 3 completed calendar months)
  • Last 6 months (Previous 6 completed calendar months)
  • This year (Current calendar year)
  • Last year (Previous completed calendar year)
  • All time (All time)
