Delete Documents

With the Delete Document option, you can remove a document from the translation management system.

To delete a document, follow these steps:

  1. Click to open a project from the Projects menu.

  2. Check the box next to the document(s) you would like to delete.

  3. From the Documents bar, choose the Actions menu.

  4. Type and select Delete.

  5. From the dialog, click Delete to confirm the action.

  6. The system creates a Job in the Process Queue and removes all the documents from the user interface while they are being deleted. 

  7. A bar will appear in the UI of the project you deleted documents from indicating how many documents are pending deletion. This will disappear once all the documents have been deleted. 

The document will be deleted from the system:

  • The TMS will notify integrations that the document is to be deleted from the TMS.

  • All records of the document will be removed from the other Enterprise applications (Portal, Vendor, Quality, etc.).
