Targets List

Target List

In the Enterprise TMS, targets are the locales your document (source file) is being translated into. However, there is more to targets than simply the end result. The workflow associated with the target is the process you and your organization has chosen to make sure the end result is a high-quality translation ready for your target audience. Use the target list to view your document’s targets and the progress of each phase in the workflow.

  1. Document Summary – An overview of the document you are in. You can perform document-level actions here. This drop-down is separate from the target action drop-down. The document summary is visible wherever you are in the document.

  2. Navigation Tabs – These tabs allow you to manage other aspects of the document.

  3. Target List Header – Refresh the information on the target list and perform target bulk actions.

  4. Target header – On this row, you can:

    1. Click on the flag to see the target ID and UUID. Click on either the ID or UUID to copy them to your clipboard.

    2. Click on the pencil icon to see the target workflow and edit the rules on the “translation completion” workflow step.

    3. View target level information like weighted word count, cost, due date and more.

    4. Change the target due date

    5. Upload and download a finalized file.

  5. Phases – View all the phases in the target. Clicking the name of the phase will open the phase in the Workbench.

  6. Vendor - The vendor assigned to the phase. Vendor assignments can be changed as long as the phase is not in a completed state and no human progress has been made.

  7. Resources - View and edit linguist assignments.

  8. Phase Actions - Take actions on individual phases.
