Document Smart Selector

When you need to run document actions on large groups of documents, you can use the Select All feature.

Use Select All to do the following:

  • Quickly select all of the documents on the page (or within the entire project)

  • Easily select documents by priority or by date

  • Choose all documents in a current workflow phase

For instance, when you need to add a workflow phase or target language to many documents at once, you can speed up the process with the Select All feature.

To perform document actions on a large group of documents, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Select All checkbox above the list of documents.

  2. From the menu, choose the Select All option you wish to use.

  3. Go to the Actions menu and scroll to select the action you wish to apply.

Once the documents are selected, complete the dialog and click Apply to run the document action.

To clear all of the selections on the Select All menu, go to the Select All menu and choose None.

Examples

When would you use Select All options to run document actions?

  • Last Uploaded
Manage documents by the date they were uploaded with the Last Uploaded Select All option. This can be especially useful if you need to delete and then replace a set of documents uploaded on a specific date.

  • Priority
Run actions on important documents with the Priority Select All option.
For example, you may wish to change the due date for high-priority items. Additionally, add/remove workflow phases for high-priority items.

  • Workflow Stage
Use a Assignments Select All option to manage the documents in a particular workflow phase. For example, if an assigned translator becomes unavailable during the translation phase, you can use this Select All option to reassign his incomplete documents.
