Vendor Reports from the Document List

Running Vendor reports from the Document List allows you to get cost information from documents that match a specific criteria rather than needing to download report from Vendor that contains cost information you need to filter out. It also allows you to quickly get cost information from the Project app instead of needing to kick off the report from the vendor application.Â
Cost Reports
- Use the document filters and smart selector to select the documents you need cost information about.
- Open the Document List bulk actions.Â
- If you are a client, you will get cost information about phases assigned to all vendors. If you are vendor, you will only get cost information about phases that have been assigned to your default organization.Â
- At this point you can run the report, however, you have the option to add an additional date range filter, that will prevent any phases that were created outside of the date range from being included in the Report, even though they belong to the selected documents.Â
- A blue notification will inform you your report has been started and provide you a link that you can click to be taken to the Vendor application to download the report.
- The Vendor application will open in a new tab and you will be taken straight to the Reports tab of the Vendor app where you can download your latest report.Â
Invoice Reports
- Note that Final Invoice Reports are not available to vendors from the Project Management application.Â
- Use the document filters and smart selector to select the documents you need cost information about.
- Open the Document List bulk actions.Â
If you are a client, you will need to select the vendor you want to run the report for. If you are vendor, you will only get cost information about phases that have been assigned to your default organization.Â
Just like running an invoice report from the Vendor application, only phases that are invoiceable will be included in the report. Read the documentation for more information about what makes a phase invoiceable.Â
- At this point you can run the report, however, you have the option to add an additional date range filter, that will prevent any phases that were marked invoiceable outside of the date range from being included in the Report, even though they belong to the selected documents.Â
- If you are a linguist, you also have the option to run a linguist report for the selected documents at the same time as running the invoice report.
- A blue notification will inform you your report has been started and provide you a link that you can click to be taken to the Vendor application to download the report.
- The Vendor application will open in a new tab and you will be taken straight to the Reports tab of the Vendor app where you can download your latest report.
Linguist Reports
- Only vendors have the ability to run a Linguist Report.Â
- Follow the steps outlined under Invoice Reports to run a Linguist Report or simply kick of the Linguist Report at the same time you run the Invoice Report.Â
