Release Summary
In this release, we’ve made significant enhancements to how we leverage and display translation memory throughout TMS, Workbench, and Document Viewer. This includes a notable amount of code and data cleanup to support improved TM match accuracy and display, as well as better performance of several processes in the TMS. Below are a few highlighted enhancements included in this release along with a list of bug fixes:
Key Features
- Improved formatted TM leveraging for tag attribute differences
- We have expanded our ability to identify Exact 100% matches when tag placement is identical, but tag attributes (e.g. tagID) are different. This provides additional leverage of formatted TM and cost savings from the additional TM leverage.
- Improved leverage and display of special characters
- Our TM match algorithm now includes enhanced support for matching special characters such as em quad, mdash, ndash, etc. These enhancements improve both the ability to better identify matches and also correctly penalizing for character mismatches.
- Performance enhancements to the TM unit details pop-up
- We’ve made notable performance improvements when viewing details about a TM unit. The TM unit details pop-up now loads instantaneously.
- New Tags to Apply (Syntax 100%) column in the Analysis Report export
- When exporting an analysis report, we’ve added an additional “Tags to Apply (Syntax 100%)” column to the report. This helps you quickly determine how many tags need to be applied on just the Syntax 100% matches; allowing you to plan and estimate tag application accordingly.
