Can I import the filter configuration (used with my previous provider) to Enterprise?

Yes. Most filter configurations can be uploaded to Enterprise. We support FPRM, ITS and SRX filter configuration files.

Can I apply a new HTML filter configuration - to just the current project?

Yes. If you want to apply a default filter configuration other than the system default, you can do that on the project level (based on file type).

Can I import multilingual files to a translation project?

Yes. The TMS can import a file containing both monolingual and multilingual content (including multilingual XLIFF 2.0 and PO files).

My multilingual files contain approved translations. Can I lock these segments?

Yes. If a file with multilingual content is uploaded to Enterprise, Enterprise locks the existing translations (so they cannot be edited by a linguist). Then, using the workflow, these segments can be propagated to other workflow phases.

Can I segment content by paragraph (rather than by sentence)?

Yes. If a degree of transcreation is needed (e.g. in the case of creative/technical materials where 1:1 correspondence between sentences is not practical), it may be desirable to segment on a paragraph (rather than a sentence). We’ve added the ability to turn segmentation on or off for XLIFF files via the FPRM filter. Additionally, we’ve added the option to turn segmentation on/off for a specific segment ID.
