Document Settings

You can change document settings by selecting the Settings tab.

Document Settings

To edit document settings:

  1. Select the Edit button

  2. You can change the following settings.

    1. Document Name

    2. Document Due Date – if you change the document due date, you must also provide a reason for changing the due date.

    3. Priority – Be sure to set the priority to help linguists and project managers prioritize the document. 

    4. Project - Changing the project will not affect the workflows on your document's targets. 

    5. Document Note – Use the document note to provide important context and instructions for linguists and project managers. 

    6. Source URL – Our Workbench will automatically load this URL when linguists open a task. Read about In-Context Translation.

    8. Categories

    9. Whether or not to preserve white-listed tags

  3. Click the Save button. 

Document Metadata

Document metadata is best set when actually uploading the document. Metadata affects which quality scorecards are used to evaluate quality, which rates are used to calculate costs and more. If you change the metadata on the document, your costs will not be updated.

To change document metadata:

  1. Select the Edit button on the Document Metadata panel

  2. Change your metadata fields as necessary. 

  3. Click the Save button. Â
