We are pleased to announce that version 16.10.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.

Portal

This release includes a brand new version of our Portal application that will make it easier for content managers to request and monitor the translation process without interacting with the Project application.

Major Improvements

  • Portal users have a new straightforward experience since we removed all setup steps from end-users.

  • We have simplified the process to upload documents while still allowing you to set all necessary metadata and reference materials for your organization.

  • Upload all supported file types from Portal, including InDesign pre-flight packages.

  • You can manage documents in batches using Projects.

  • Work with support to create custom roles that meet the needs of your organization.

  • Easily access basic actions like canceling work, adding more targets, and downloading translations.

Other Features

  • Quickly drag and drop files on any of your projects to start the upload process.

  • Upload Subtitle files (SRT and WebVTT) with a video, so translators have the necessary context.

  • Color-coded statuses make it easy to see translation status at a glance.

  • Quickly find granular details about projects and documents whenever needed.

Project Management

Document Import/Export

  • We added the “Original with configs” option to the download action on the target list.

Workflow

  • LQE email notifications always include a CSV of segment feedback regardless of the quantity of feedback left.

  • We fixed an issue where LQE emails occasionally failed to be sent.

TM Units

  • We fixed an issue preventing you from searching for generic Czech TM units.

Glossary

  • Users could not view or add glossary terms for some generic languages.

Segment Management

  • Self-closing tags display correctly on the Segment tab.

Reports

Workbench

Find and Replace

  • Occasionally, the Whole Word restriction would not correctly handle format tags and wouldn’t find matches.
