Segment History
Segment History
Segment History gives users insight into the life-cycle of a segment as it moves through the workflow. The following information is available:
Who did what and how?
The segment history shows the user who made the change to the segment. If a user didn’t make the change (for example, leverage TM or copy translations), then “Enterprise System” is the user.
A segment can be created, approved, or edited. A segment is approved when the user saves a translation without making any edits.
The name of the phase where the segment was edited is shown and its sequential order in the workflow.
You can also see what action was used to save the segment and in which application.
Target Text
See the text and tags in the translation.
Compare each entry in the segment history to track the changes.
Use the copy icon to copy that version of the target into the segment of the current phase. This will overwrite existing translations.
See the following information by selecting the circle at the top of the segment’s history.
