Use Leverage TM to apply new translation memory to an existing document.

You may want to Leverage TM

  • If the current workflow does not include a Leverage TM phase.
  • If you need to leverage TM from a vault not already used in the default workflow.
  • After the Leverage TM workflow phase is complete.

(tick) Tip: The system creates a new TM Leverage Report each time you choose to Leverage TM. This report displays the percentage of the translation can be completed with TM and is available on each document’s TM Statistics tab.

To Leverage TM in a document,

  1. Click to open a project from your Dashboard.

  2. Check the box(es) next to document(s) requiring a TM leverage.

  3. From the Documents bar, scroll to the Actions menu.

  4. Type "Leverage TM" (or scroll to Pre-translation and select Leverage TM).

  5. Complete the dialog (instructions below) and click Leverage TM.

  6. This will place new translation memory for the selected documents and vaults in the workbench.

Complete the Dialog

From the dialog, choose

  • Which vaults to leverage
  • Vault precedence
  • Whether to lock 100% TM matches so translators cannot edit them
