We are pleased to announce that version 17.2.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released on 01/18/2022.

Security

  • The Apache security team reported new vulnerabilities related to the log4j2 library. We have successfully upgraded libraries in our codebase and the Lingotek repository to resolve vulnerabilities in the platform. With this release, we’re glad to report that any potential risks are resolved.

As of January 18, 2022, our log4j2 library is updated to version 2.17.1 which includes the most recent security patches.

Project Management

Workflow Templates

  • The Workflows page is now updated to be more user-friendly. To know more about workflow templates, see Workflow Templates.

Document Import

  • Bilingual files that are not structured properly for segmentation will not be segmented.

Intelligence

Date Range

  • The Date Range filter is now available in the Intelligence application. To filter your search results, select an option from the Display list and then enter your desired date range in the Date Range box.

  • You can use both filters separately or together. To clear the existing search filter, click the Clear Filter Values option.

  • To learn more about the Intelligence app, see Intelligence Dashboard.

Secondary Document Metadata

  • A document's secondary metadata is now added to the new filters in the Intelligence application. Only the metadata that you use will appear as filter options.

  • Contact Name

  • Contact Email

  • Content Description

  • The Display referenced content option is now removed from the extension marketplace. Referenced content is displayed automatically in the single view if available.
