We are pleased to announce that version 16.4.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.

Project Management

Machine Translation

• We have added Machine Translation Credentials in our TMS. Communities could have more than one machine translation provider (Microsoft, Google, etc.), but they could not link to multiple engines from the same provider. With MT credentials, you can train various engines from the same provider and use them in your community.

  

  • We updated the community MT customization experience to allow you to add, remove, and manage MT credentials for each MT provider enabled in your community.

  • Machine translation actions and project resources allow you to select an MT credential instead of an MT provider.

Global Find and Replace

• We have made improvements to ensure search methods also determine how users replace content.

  

  • We have removed the “Match” dropdown and replaced it with a new “Restrict Search Using” section.

  • If there aren’t any restrictions, the TMS will match and replace all matching characters.

  • You can choose to restrict your search to match and replace whole words or the whole segment.

  • Also, choose if you want to restrict search results and replace criteria based on case sensitivity.

• Segment history gives you insight into changes made from the Global Find and Replace tool.

  

Finalized Files

• We increased the finalized file size limit to 8GB.

TM Units

• Language pairs would not load in the TM units page was opened from the TM Vault’s details page.

• The page size control at the top of the table works as expected.

Marketplace

Marketo

• Variables, or “call to action” fields, round trip as expected in emails and landing pages.

API

• The response to the POST /project call populates the template_id parameter as expected. The template_id parameter is the ID of the project template used to create the project.
