Once you’ve gone into a site and applied translation settings and created its language roots, you will be ready to send content to translation. To start translating content, you will need to create a translatable copy of the site. 

A live copy creates a new instance of the site. If you wish to complete translations by creating a Live Copy, follow the instructions below.
 

  1. Create a language root. (Discussed previously).
    Go into each directory you wish to translate, and create a language root.  (The language root will house all of the live copies within the directory).
     
  2. Create a live copy for each directory you wish to translate. (Use the language page as the destination path).
     
  3. Create a translation project (using the instructions here), and add the appropriate live copy to each project.
     
  4. Start the translation job.
