This document outlines the capabilities and limitations of RAY Enterprise's XLIFF 1.2 filter configuration.
Filter Configuration Capabilities
- We support ITS 2.0, as described here.

The RAY Enterprise XLIFF 1.2 filter configuration supports the majority of the XLIFF 1.2 specification; however, there are a few items we do not support, as outlined below. |
Filter Configuration Limitations
- Content of the element is currently not supported as text.
- The current RAY Enterprise importer only stores inline tags (with ctype attribute values) and notes from trans-units.
- Units with translate="no" will still be imported, but locked in the workbench.
Enhancements Beyond the XLIFF 1.2 Specification
- See http://okapiframework.org/wiki/index.php?title=XLIFF_Filter#Parameters for information on Parameter support.
- The config option simplifyTags.b=true directs the system to not simplify inline codes. Otherwise ending and trailing codes are trimmed and any consecutive codes are merged to simplify the presentation to the translator.
