Use Machine Translate to add machine translation to the phase of your choice.

Tip

Active Phases

You can only run Machine Translation on active phases. The job will ignore phases in an inactive state.

To apply Machine Translation to a phase,

  1. Log in. Your role must be a project manager or higher. 

  2. Click to open a project from the Projects

    Menu

    menu.

  3. Check the box next to the document(s) needing machine translation.

  4. From the Documents bar, scroll to the Actions menu.


     

  5. Scroll down to Pre-translation and select Machine Translate (or start typing

    ,

    "Machine Translate").


     

  6. From the dialog,

    1. Scroll to select

      Select the Phase requiring machine translation.

    2. Scroll to select

      Select the Machine Translation

      Engine

      Credential or MT Template to use. 

    By default, Allow MT engine to place format tags, is selected. It is highly recommended that you keep this selected. The MT engines that can apply format tags are Google Translate, Microsoft Translator, and GeoFluent. 
     
    1. Chose which targets you would like MT to be applied to.

  7. Click to Save your work.
