As needed, PMs A project manager (PM) can skip a workflow phase. When a phase is skipped, the workflow continues to the next step, and the phase report lists the phase as skipped.

To skip workflow phase(s) on a document, follow these steps:

  1. Access the applicable project from the Projects menu.

  2. Check Select the check box next to the document (s) you would like that you want to update.

  3. From the Documents bar, scroll to the Actions menu.

  4. Type Phase and select Skip: Phase.

  5. In the dialog, select the phase(s) you wish to skip.

  6. Scroll to select the reason for skipping the phase(s). 

  7. When you are ready, click Skip Phase.
    The phase will be skipped and the document(s) will be moved to the next phase.

  • For reporting purposes, PMs can list the reason the phase was skipped.

  • Multiple phases can be skipped.

  • PMs can also skip a phase for all documents in an existing project for specific target locales of their choice.
