Use Add Phase to add a single workflow phase to the documenttargets(s) of your choice.

Tip

Although you have selected documents, you will be adding the phase to each target in the selected documents.

Choose to add an additional human Translate phase, Review phase, or a Custom phase.

Custom phases can be used to track any additional QA step needed for a particular document (e.g. desktop layout confirmation, legal review, or financial approval).

Tip
titlePhase tips
  • There is no limit to the number of phases that can be added to a document.
  • You cannot add second translation phase to a workflow.
  • You cannot add a new phase with a name that matches an existing phase.
  • You cannot add a translation phase after a review phase.
  • The new phase will be appended to the end of the document's existing workflow.

To Add a Phase to a document,

  1. Click to open a project from your Projects menu.

  2. Select the box(es) for the document(s) requiring a new phase.

  3. From the Documents bar, scroll to the Actions: menu.Select the Document List Actions.

  4. Type and select Add Phase.

  5. Complete the dialog (instructions below) and click Add Phase to save your work.

  6. A new process will be started that you can monitor in the process queue. Upon the completion of the process, review the details and you will see the number of targets affected, how many successfully received the phase, how many did not receive the phase and why.
Tip

This will add a new phase for each target language listed on the current document.
