Choose What to Translate (Sitecore)

Once you’ve selected some languages, you will be ready to translate your Sitecore content. 
Access the Lingotek portal, choose the pages you would like to be translated, and then send them to Lingotek.
 

To request translations,

  1. Log in to Sitecore.
     
  2. Go to the Launchpad and click the Lingotek icon.
    This displays a list of all of the pages in Sitecore, along with the option to request translations into selected languages.
     

    To request translations for many pages,

  3. Click the checkbox(es) next to the page(s) you wish to translate.
    (tick) Tip: To select many pages at once, click the checkbox at the top of the page.



  4. From the drop down (upper left), scroll to select Upload Pages for Translation.
    This will send the selected pages to Lingotek for translation – in all languages.

  5. Color coded language icons display next to each page.
    • BLUE-    translations not yet requested
    • RED-      submitted for translation
    • GREEN- translation completed and ready to publish.
      (Once the language icon is green, click to open the translation in the workbench).
    • BLACK- translation completed and published.


To request translations for a single page, click the language icon next to a Sitecore item. 


This will send a translation request to Lingotek for the selected language.
