We are pleased to announce that version 16.17.0 of the Lingotek Translation Management System was released today.
We are excited to introduce Machine Translation (MT) Templates to the Lingotek TMS. These templates provide a simple way to specify centralized MT logic wherever users and workflows interact with MT.
We added MT Templates under Templates in the sidebar. Click on this new option to view your community’s MT templates and to create new ones.
Full PMs and above can see this page and have permission to view, edit, create, and delete MT Templates.
You can search for MT templates by their name and UUID on the MT template page.
Assign MT credentials to language pairs so when users or workflows reference MT, the system uses the correct credential based on the language pair. You can use MT templates in your:
Project resources – controls which MT credential is used in the resources tab in the Workbench sidebar.
Workflows – the machine translate action.
Manual MT actions.
Segments load independently from in-context previews of InDesign files.
The system will prompt you to enter the hours you worked on custom phases when you mark your task complete from the Workbench.
We added a new ready_to_download
parameter in various API responses and the target callback to clarify when integrations should download completed translations. The parameter will be set to TRUE
when the target status is complete or late.
Downloading Interim Translations Integrators should still have the logic to download translations whenever connectors get the |
