Reference Material

Reference Materials are file types that are meant to provide linguists with instructions, context, and anything else they may need to provide quality translations. You can see that if there are reference materials, a number appears next to the Reference Materials icon. Please be certain to view and download all reference materials available to you.

  • The reference material files will have a name and may also include a useful description to help you understand what they are used for.

  • You may download reference materials in bulk or individually.

Document Metadata

Metadata is primarily used to automate certain processes in the RAY Enterprise TMS. However, it may also provide useful information to the linguist. For example, the contact name and email may be the person you should contact about any questions or concerns in the source document.

  • Any metadata fields that have been populated on the document will appear here.

  • The Source URL is normally used to load a webpage in our context viewer.
