Linguists only have access to tools on two tabs: Tasks (their assigned tasks) and Tools (Find & Replace - available for just their assigned documents).

Note that Linguists have no menus at the top of the page.
As a caveat, from the Workbench, Linguists can view TM and glossary hits relevant to segments in their current assignments.
