Team Permissions

Teams make it easier to grant permissions to large groups of people. If you need to share a glossary, TM vault, or other resource with many individuals, consider creating a team. Once a team is created, you can grant permissions in bulk rather than individually.

How do I grant permissions to a team?

To grant permissions to a team,

Access the language resource you would like to share from Project Resources. (This could include Glossaries, TM Vaults, Workflows, etc).
Click to open the Glossary, TM Vault, Workflow, etc.
Choose the Settings tab (upper right).
Click the field under Shared Users.
Type the name of the team (or scroll to select it).
  • Your changes are saved automatically.
  • Navigate away from the screen to see the change.
    Tip

Click the “x” to remove a shared user.

    Team Productivity

Finally, teams can be used to gauge group productivity. Once you create a team, points appear next to each translator’s name. These points are based on completed translations.

Access a team from the main menu (Project Resources > Teams) to see how well they are producing – individually and as a whole.

    Overview

Lingotek offers a feature that allows you to divide community members into separate teams. This allows you to assign tasks and share resources to entire teams instead of individuals one at a time.

Open the team menu by selecting Project Resources > Teams to create and manage teams.
