Page Comparison

Project Managers may both edit and search for existing Translation Memory within any vaults they have created.

To search existing Translation Memory,

Go to the Projects menu at the top of the page Project Resources menu in the sidebar and select TM Vaults.
Click to select the TM Vault you would like to search or edit.
At the upper right of the page, select the Actions menu and choose Edit.
This will open to a search screen the TM Units page with your TM Vault pre-selected in the Search Vaults drop-down.
1. Under Source Text, type the text you would like to search for within your TM Vault(s).Scroll to select a Source Language and Target Language for your search
2. Select the language pair you wish to edit.
3. Optionally, select a Date Range.
Click Search.
Scroll down to view your search results.

Vaults Note

Editing TM units will cause formatting tags to be lost. A confirmation will appear upon saving changes.

Choose whether or not you wish to see tags in your search results. You have the option to hide inline tags, show collapsed inline tags, show expanded inline tags, or show expanded inline tags with attributes.
Tip
If you make any edits to a TM unit that will delete inline tags while tags are hidden, you will be notified and given the option to view tags before saving the edit.

From your search results, double click on the source or target text of the entry you would like to edit.

In the editing box, type your changes in the Source and Target edit boxes and click Save.

Click on the target text of the entry you would like to edit.

Make any changes and click Save.
TipClick and drag the bottom right corner on the editing field to expand/contract the size of the the field
.
For more information about the TM (its originating document, project, vault, etc.), click the Details link.open Details from the More icon on the far right of the row.

Tip
If you need to delete an entire segment from translation memory, go to the search results, click the box next to the TM Unit, and then click Delete at the top of the TM list.

Tip
Quickly select all segments at once with the check box checkbox at the top of the list.
