Project Management

Workflow Templates

The Workflow Templates page now has an improved interface. Specifically, the following updates are now available on the page:

  • You can now select multiple workflow templates at once .

    • To select specific templates of your choice at once, click the check box in the left-most column for the applicable template.

    • To select templates in bulk, click the checkbox in the left-most column heading.

  • With the Bulk Delete option, you can now delete templates in bulk. To delete templates in bulk, click the WORKFLOW ACTIONS option in the upper-right corner of the page, and then click Bulk Detele.

  • With the Last Used column, you can now to delete them in bulk.

  • You can view the last time the workflow template has been usedcreated a target or project workflow with the Last Used column.

  • With the Preview column, you can now see a preview of the phases that comprise a template. Each letter tile that appears in Preview represents a specific phase in the translation workflow. Point to a letter tile to see the phase’s full name and type.

  • You can now search for specific templates using the Name/UUID box.

Workbench

Spelling and Grammar Check

  • The Workbench application is now updated to save translation segments even if there are spelling or grammatical inconsistencies.

The spelling and grammar checker still runs in the background, and you now have the option to save segments that may not exactly agree with machine grammar and spell-check. 

  • You can now select which grammar checker to use: Lingotek TMS’s native grammar checker or your browser’s. 

  • Glossaries in the system are now updated to account for terms. With this update, matching terms no longer show spelling or grammar errors.

Previously, Workbench users could not save a translation segment if the spelling and grammar checker detects errors or inconsistencies, preventing users from completing a translation task.

Document Completion Phase

The Document Completion phase is now available in Workflow Templates and Project Templates Workflows. With this new phase, you can now set up email notifications whenever the file translation workflow is completed and the non-translation process beginscompletes or is reopened.

The Document Completion phase comes after the Translation Completion phase.

Translation Management System

Leverage Translation Memory (TM)

You can now opt a region out ignore the region code of the source or target when leveraging translation memory in your translation projects. Specifically, when you select language pairs to translate, you can now ignore the source's locale or language and proceed with selecting a specific target locale. 

This update affects the following applications and features of TMS: 

  • Workflow Templates (Leverage Step)  

  • Workflow Template > Setup Step TM Configuration  

  • Project Workflow  

  • Manual Leverage  

  • Project Resources > TM Configuration  

  • Project Template > TM Configuration  

  • Analyze Modal  

  • Edit Leverage Phase (on an existing phase)

    This allows you to increase the amount of available TM while still controlling for quality.

    Workbench

    Spelling and Grammar Check

    • Users can save segments in the Workbench even if spelling and grammar issues are found, allowing users to ignore false positives. 

    • Glossaries in the system are now updated to account for terms. Matching terms are not marked as spelling or grammar errors with this update.
