Once a project is created and files are uploaded, the project manager can assign tasks to individual linguists, teams, and/or all users in the community. Assigning tasks to teams or the community is referred to as “crowd translation” and any user in that team (or community) can work on the task.

To make an assignment, follow these steps:

  1. Select Projects from the sidebar.

  2. Open a project.

  3. Click the box next to the file(s) you would like to assign. 

    To select many documents at once, click the box at the top of the page. 

  4. When you are ready, click Assignments (upper right) and type the name of the person/team you would like to assign for each workflow phase (e.g. Translation, Review, Custom, etc.).

  5. Click Update Assignments to send an email notifying each team member of the new assignment.

    Assignments for Cancelled documents will be ignored when you update assignments.
