One2Edit’s web-based editor helps teams collaborate on Adobe InDesign documents in real time. With Lingotek's new One2Edit connector, you will be able to translate InDesign documents, and publish them with fully retained formatting. This connector sends your One2Edit content to Lingotek’s TMS, where it can be assigned to a linguist and translated. When it is complete, the translated, fully formatted InDesign document is automatically sent back to One2Edit where it can be reviewed and published.

If you are interested in learning more about the Lingotek-One2Edit connector, please contact sales@lingotek.com

How it Works

To get started with the connector, complete the Lingotek-One2Edit questionnaire.
This questionnaire will help Lingotek personnel connect the two accounts. Once it is complete, send the questionnaire to support@lingotek.com.

Next, create a new project in Lingotek to handle translations for your One2Edit content.
(tick) Tip: It is very important to create a new project dedicated exclusively to One2Edit content.

Once the connection and the project are established, you’ll be ready to set up in One2Edit.
Set up resources for each language you wish to translate into.

  • Create a new “language version” of the documents you wish to translate.
  • Create a new One2Edit workflow for each language.

Let’s get started.
