  • Bulk actions – Select the desired documents to enable the document actions button. Choose between the cancel, add target, and download actions.

Action Details

Add Targets

After you created a document, you can add as many targets as you need.

  1. Open the add target action in one of the ways described above.

  2. Select the target locales you want your source document translated to.

  3. Choose your due date, or manually choose a due date for your targets.

  4. Select Add. Refresh the page to view your new targets.

Action limitations

  • You cannot add targets to cancelled documents.

  • A document cannot have two targets with the same locale.

  • The workflow will overwrite your due dates if your organization configured the workflow to calculate due dates automatically.

  • Selecting a locale your language service provider is not anticipating may affect automated cost calculation.

Cancel Documents

Cancel entire documents or specific targets if the work is no longer necessary. You cannot undo this action, so be sure that is the action you want to take.

  1. Open the cancel action in one of the ways described above.

  2. We require you to give a reason for canceling the document or target.

  3. Choose to cancel the selected document(s) to cancel the document and all associated targets.

  4. Choose to cancel specific targets in your selected document(s).

  5. Select Confirm, and Portal will start the process to cancel your selected documents and/or targets.

Action limitations

  • Once you cancel a document, it is in a completed state, and you cannot take any additional action on the document.

  • You cannot add a target to a document if that same target is already in a cancelled state on the document. You need to upload the source file again and request that target locale on the new document.

  • You cannot cancel targets or documents already in a completed state (complete or late).

  • Your language service provider may still require you to pay them for any billable work they completed on the cancelled target.

Download Documents

Download complete or partially translated documents whenever you need them.

  1. Open the cancel action in one of the ways described above.

  2. Select the translated targets you want to download. Click select all to choose all target on the document quickly.

  3. Click Download. A zip file will automatically download to your device when the process completes. You can open the processes widget to re-download the file if necessary.

Download Details

  • Portal gives you all downloads in a ZIP file. The ZIP file is named after the project.

  • Inside the ZIP file, there will be a folder for the source files and each target locale you selected for download.

  • The errors.txt file will describe any issues with the download. Provide this file to support if you run into any problems.

  • We include Finalized files in a separate folder inside the target locale they were associated with. If the finalized file is not present, then there weren’t any for that target language.
