Use the Leverage TM action to apply new translation memory to documents within any project. You may want to Leverage TM for an entire project or a group of documents...
- If the current workflow does not include a Leverage TM phase.
- If you need to leverage TM from a vault not already used in the default workflow.
- After the Leverage TM workflow phase is complete.

Tip: The system creates a new TM Leverage Report each time you choose to Leverage TM. This report displays the percentage of the translation can be completed with TM and is available on each document’s TM Statistics tab. |
To Leverage TM in a document or project,
- Click to open a project from your DashboardProjects menu.
- Choose to leverage TM for all of the documents within a project, or for only some of the documents within a project.
- To leverage TM for all of the documents in a project, open a project and select Leverage TM from the Project Actions menu Project Actions menu.

- To leverage TM for all of the documents in a project, open a project and select Leverage TM from the Project Actions menu Project Actions menu.
- Next, in the dialog, choose which TM vaults to leverage.
Click the check box next to Search TM vaults.

Tip: To remove a TM vault or glossary, simply drag and drop to the left.
Tip: On the right, prioritize vaults by dragging and dropping up and down.

For each selected TM vault, leave the Leverage minimum at Exact 100%, or click the radio button to leverage lower quality matches.

To leverage lower quality matches, click the radio button and type in a percentage on the right.
Optionally choose to lock Exact 100% and/or Syntax 100% matches (so that linguists cannot edit the TM matches).
- Optionally add a penalty to automatically lower matches value from a specific vault.
Complete any other desired fields.
Most fields can be left at their default settings.
If you want to complete extra settings, see the table below.- When you are ready, scroll down and click Leverage TM to save your preferences.
- This will run a translation memory leverage in the selected documents.
